DGCA probes whether IndiGo Delhi-Baku Jan 29 flight took off sans ATC nod; pilots derostered | India News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: The pilots who operated IndiGo’s Jan 29, 2024, Delhi-Baku flight (6E 1803) have been off-rostered (taken off flying duty) pending a probe initiated by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to see if they took off without the mandatory air traffic control (ATC) clearance. The flight had taken off at 7.38 pm on Jan 29.
“The matter is under investigation by DGCA.The pilots have been off-rostered pending investigation,” said a senior regulatory official. Comments have been sought from IndiGo and are awaited.
