RANCHI: ED questioned Rajya Sabha MP Dhiraj Sahu of Congress for about four-and-half hours on Sunday in connection with confiscation of a BMW car from New Delhi residence of former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, who was arrested by ED on Jan 31 in a land scam case.
This follows ED’s questioning of Sahu for over 10 hours on Saturday and collection of data from his mobile phone.ED had earlier said to have found links connecting Sahu with the seized vehicle after which it served him summons on Feb 8, asking him to reach its Ranchi office on Feb 10.
ED also questioned Sahibganj DC Ram Niwas Yadav in connection with illegal mining and money laundering cases. A search found 19 cartridges at his home on Jan 3.
