If Jeremy Allen White joins The Conners, the cast has an idea of how he could fit into the show.

ET’s Deidre Behar had an exclusive chat with Emma Kenney, Lecy Goranson and Laurie Metcalf on the set of The Conners as they gear up for their highly anticipated sixth season.

Kenney opened up about reaching the remarkable milestone of 100 episodes, the vibes on set, and the possibility of her Shameless TV brother making a guest appearance.

Reflecting on the excitement surrounding the 100th episode, Kenney expressed, “The vibes are exciting; we’re all really happy to be here. It’s such an amazing accomplishment to hit a hundred episodes. We’re all really proud and excited.” She also hinted at the high spirits within the cast, unaware of the twists and turns that await their characters in the upcoming season.

When asked about the chance of White making an appearance, Kenney remarked, “Oh my gosh, he is so busy right now, I feel like maybe.” She emphasized the enduring bond within the Shameless cast, and how they are still in touch, saying, “Yeah, Jeremy’s the best, we’re, you know, that cast will always be in touch. We’ll always be a family, and it’s nice to be a part of another TV family now too.”

Metcalf chimed in with an interesting suggestion for White’s potential role on The Conners, envisioning him as a supremely overqualified chef at the Lanford Lunch Box who went to culinary school. Kenney expressed enthusiasm for the idea, endorsing it as a great storyline.

Expressing her admiration for White, Kenney shared, “I’m such a big fan of Jeremy; everything he does, he does so well, and I’m not surprised to see the amount of success he’s receiving.”

Last month, White secured his second consecutive Golden Globe for his outstanding performance in the acclaimed FX series, The Bear

The talented actor clinched the esteemed award for Best Actor in a Television Series — Musical or Comedy, mirroring his previous win. White’s compelling portrayal of Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, the five-star chef embarking on a journey to elevate his family’s Italian beef restaurant to a high-class dining establishment in Chicago, continues to earn well-deserved accolades.

The Conners season 6 — which will consist of 13 episodes — premieres Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 8/7c on ABC.
