NEW DELHI: An IndiGo flight missed the exitway it was supposed to take after landing at Delhi Airport on Sunday morning and then stopped on the runway and then had to be towed to the parking bay. The runway was blocked for several minutes.
An IndiGo spokesperson said: “IndiGo flight 6E 2221 operating from Amritsar to Delhi missed the exit taxiway after landing at Delhi airport due to low visibility.The aircraft was stopped on the runway and was towed to the parking bay by a tug. IndiGo prioritises operational safety above all else and regrets any inconvenience caused to passengers.”
The aircraft had taken off at 7.20 am and landed here at 8.35 am.
