iQoo has confirmed that it will launch the iQoo Z9 5G smartphone in India. The company has scheduled the launch event for March 12, where it will unveil the smartphone. “Calling all #GenZ fam ! #FullyLoaded #iQOOZ9 in the house! Guess the processor name and tag 5 homies to win some exciting #iQOO goodies,” the company posted on X (formerly known as Twitter).
The image shared by the company on X reveals that the smartphone will sport a dual rear camera setup and a marble finish rear panel.
iQoo Z9 confirmed details
iQoo has confirmed that the upcoming 5G smartphone will be the first in the price segment to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset.
The Chinese smartphone maker has also confirmed that iQoo Z9 5G smartphone will house a Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS. The smartphone will also sport an OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The mid-range iQoo smartphone will also come with 44W fast charging support.
The company has also confirmed that the smartphone will be available online on Amazon.in.
iQoo Neo 9 Pro recently launched in India
iQoo recently unveiled its latest mid-range smartphone, the iQoo Neo 9 Pro, in India. The phone boasts an AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
The iQoo Neo 9 Pro offers up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Running on the Android 14 operating system with the company’s FunTouch OS 14 overlay, it is a dual SIM smartphone. The device features a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP main sensor with an aperture of f/1.88 and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2. For selfies, there is a 16MP front camera.
Backing the iQoo Neo 9 Pro is a robust 5,160 mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. The smartphone is available with a starting price tag of Rs 35,999.
