Israel: Hamas has 199 hostages, higher than previously estimated – Times of India

Israel‘s military has told the families of 199 people that their loved ones were taken hostage by Hamas, according to the chief military spokesman, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari.
That’s higher than a preliminary assessment shared by one senior Israeli military official last week which estimated that at least 150 Israelis had been taken hostage.
