Nothing is expected to announce its new smartphone — Phone (2a) — in India. The company has already confirmed the smartphone’s launch and has also started posting several details on the social media platforms and other official channels. In the latest development, the company has made the Phone (2a) poster live on Flipkart’s Mobile section.
Nothing Phone 2a has a placeholder on the e-commerce platform’s Mobile section. While, it is merely a video teaser (sort of) that has been placed on the website, it does not reveal much details about the upcoming smartphone apart from “Notify Me” and “Coming Very Soon” tag.
Nothing Phone 2a: What we know so far
Recently, the alleged image of Nothing Phone (2a) has surfaced on the microblogging platform, X. The image reveals that the phone has a Black back panel along with a very off camera placement. This also suggest that the affordable version may miss out on the entire Glyph interface that the two other Nothing smartphones offer.
Apart from that, a previous leak claims that the phone is expected to come with Android 13 operating system, which seems really hard to believe considering the company has already rolled out the latest Nothing OS 2.5 update based on Android 14 operating system.
Moreover, the handset is speculated to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and is rumoured to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset.
In terms of camera, the phone is rumoured to offer a dual camera setup of 50MP primary and another 50MP ultra wide sensor.
Launch date
Nothing, as of now, hasn’t confirmed the official launch date for the Phone (2a). We expect it to be announced in coming weeks or during the Mobile World Congress event.
