CHANDIGARH: Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim has urged followers to celebrate the Pran Pratishtha (consecration) of Ram Lalla at Ayodhya temple at their respective places.
Ram Rahim was speaking at an ashram in UP’s Baghpat on Saturday, a day after being released on a 50-day parole from Rohtak jail in Haryana, where the Dera is based. He has been jailed in two cases of rape and two of murders. In a video message, he asked followers to ensure they celebrate “Ram Parva like Deepawali”. “Lord Ram’s festival is being organised. You all should also join the festivities as we all are children of Lord Ram,” he said. He categorically asked followers not to come to UP.
