JAIPUR: Over 100 people, including Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot‘s former officer on special duty Mahendra Sharma, former MP DGP Pawan Kumar Jain and retired judge Kishan Lal Gurjar, joined BJP here on Saturday. A similar joining of people was held in Ajmer, Bharatpur, Alwar and Jaipur Rural.
BJP state in-charge Arun Singh said, “People are leaving Congress and other parties. They are hurt by the jungle raj in Rajasthan, which was once known for its governance. In the past 4.5 years, the land of 19,400 farmers was auctioned. Every day 18 rape cases are being recorded, making state most vulnerable for women,” he said.
