NEW DELHI: As the chief guest of the 75th R Day, India has laid out the red carpet for French President Emmanuel Macron — both at Taj Hotel’s Jaipur’s Rambagh Palace where has with Prime Minister Modi on Thursday night and the ITC Maurya where he is staying in Delhi. Both PM Modi and President Macron had left for Delhi on Thursday night. Macron is staying at ITC Maurya’s Grand Presidential Floor where former US Presidents Barrack Obama and Donald Trump stayed earlier when they are here as president.
“President Macron is extremely warm and of a friendly demeanour. Even though he came late Thursday night, he greeted the staff (warmly). He had a light breakfast on Friday and likes fruits,” said sources.
