Tecno Megabook T1 laptop with Full HD+ display, Intel CPU launched in India – Times of India

Chinese smartphone maker Tecno has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of its first-ever laptop, the Megabook T1. This new laptop is the company’s latest entry into India’s AIoT ecosystem. The company claims that the Tecno Megabook T1 will offer improved performance and a premium design. This laptop has also been awarded the Product Design Award at the German Red Dot Awards for its design.
Tecno Megabook T1: Price and avialability
Tecno has launched the Megabook T1 laptop as an Amazon Specia and its early bird sale is already live. The laptop’s sale is scheduled for September 19 and will be available in three colours—Denim Blue, Space Grey, and Moonshine Silver.

Tecno Megabook T1: Key specs and features
The Megabook T1 boasts a sleek design and is only 14.8mm thick. The laptop weighs 1.56kg. It is built with a nano-aluminum alloy and its lid can be opened with one hand. The Tecno Megabook T1 also sports a 180-degree flexible bending angle.
This laptop has a 15.6-inch Full HD+ display, that supports 350 nits brightness and 100% sRGB colour gamut. The Megabook T1 also sports a four-level backlit keyboard that promises to enhance usability in any lighting condition (works both indoors and outside). The TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort Certification of the display ensures that the user’s eyes are taken care of during extended usage.
Tecno’s Megabook T1 will be available with three variants of Intel’s 11th gen CPUs — Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 — paired with up to 16GB of RAM and SSD storage options of up to 1TB.

The laptop packs a 70Wh battery that promises to offer 17.5 hours of total battery life. Tecno also ships a 65W PD charger with the laptop. This new model also has a large VC cooling system that helps in heat dissipation.
The Megabook T1 also comes with a 2-in-1 power key which is integrated with a fingerprint sensor and a 2MP Full HD camera that safeguards privacy.
This laptop also supports DTS X Immersive Sound which is powered by the Tecno Audio Lab that claims to offer enhanced audio quality. For connectivity, the laptop includes a USB 3.1 Type C port, HDMI 1.4 ports and more.
