SRINAGAR: The State Investigation Agency (SIA), Kashmir, carried out the second round of searches in connection with a terror funding case and raided 10 locations early Friday — two in Srinagar district, seven in Pulwama district and one in Anantnag district — in Kashmir.
In this case, funds worth Rs 85 crore have allegedly been raised, laundered through covert channels, and used to fuel terrorism and secessionism in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the agency said in a statement.
The first round of searches was conducted in New Delhi and Kashmir Valley on Wednesday wherein special SIA teams seized incriminating items including mobile phones, laptops, SIM cards, passports, cheques, passbooks, and credit and debit cards, the SIA statement said.
